It's just not a Vegas trip w/o stopping at the Cal. It's just a very unique vibe and I always wind up there even when I stay in another hotel. You can find Hawaiian specialties like Ox Tail Soup, Loco Moco, & plate lunches. If you have any family from Hawaii, it's like a home away from home. It's not glitzy and it's not even very big but it is cozy. Chances are, you will find many of them staying at the California Hotel & Casino in downtown Vegas. How many of us dream of a relaxing vacation in Paradise and look forward to flying over the Pacific to Hawaii? Well, while many of us are traveling to islands like Oahu & Kauai, the Hawaiians are flying to the desert paradise of Las Vegas.
